Collaborative Family Law
Speed River Collaborative Family Law offers couples who are dealing with the aftermath of a separation a respectful and dignified approach that encourages and facilitates resolution, rather than conflict. There are different paths toward divorce and separation. Let the lawyers of the Speed River group assist you, with a cooperative and cost-effective approach that avoids the unnecessary trauma of litigation. A collaborative process can set a new direction for your mutual futures.
Speed River Collaborative
Speed River collaborative was formed in 2015 by a group of lawyers determined to improve the quality of family law legal services in Guelph and Wellington County. Any lawyer can describe him or herself as “collaborative” in their practice or methods. A true collaborative approach, however, requires both intensive training in collaborative law, and adherence to strict rules of practice.
All of our senior members have both Level 1 and Level 2 training in collaborative law, and interdisciplinary training. All members are experienced family law lawyers, and those who are new to collaborative practice have at minimum Level 1 training.
